Don't mean to bring back a dead thread, but this is a great one and I have a cool picture.

I was also tempted to just use a sepia filter but I'm going for lazy instead of stereotypical and just leaving it normal.

A LOT of places I visit all have Unico cans, apparently it's apocalypse ready.

1.

Old rural houses also tended to use newspaper as insulation, here's two cool pics from a house I already posted

I love old tat like this. If I'm not careful I could fill this thread up pretty quick!

A mix of UK, USA and Mainland Europe.

This was an unopened can as well...

I think you'd have to do more than just shake that bottle.

I posted these here sometime, somewhere. But now that Katharsys has blown the dust off this thread, they seem better suited here:

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

I do have more, but will have to do some digging. These were selected simply because they all came from the same location, a location that remains at the top of my head. It was an abandoned WI farmstead "time capsule". I am now reminded that I need to return - there was so much more to see, and more puzzle pieces to assemble in regards to its history.

There was no year on the mag, but Google Bitch says Physical Culture ran from 1899-1948.... Further Google Bitchin' reveals this is the 1922 issue. In fact, Ball State University has the entire mag online, including the article that answers the question "Should I Marry My Cousin?".

5. For those who don't know, Cheerwine is a burgundy, cherry-flavored soda sold primarily in the mid/southeast...made here in North Carolina.

6.

7. Something I didn't know until moving here; North Carolina is also the birthplace of Pepsi.
