I tested that door more than 50 times in every possible way before committing to the shot. I "was" alone on that side of that cell block when I started.... "uggggh FINALLY" was said when "thee" shot was taken. It was taken a few cells down from that places most famous inmate. (who cell door is in a museum now I think)

most of the time while exploring were so caught up in getting into a building, being aware of security, weary of unsafe flooring, throw photography into the pile of things and its funny how easy it is to forget most locations were designed with the sole intent to prevent people from leaving.

I got locked inside a mossler vault in the basement of an old bank building in i was working at last year. with a half flickering flourecent light above, no cell service and 30 seconds left of battery anyway. Nobody knew I was down there, and nobody could hear me yelling through a lobby, up two stairwells, through an atrium and another lobby where the guard was watching judge judy. Had walked in to grab something and the gate slowly went clunk behind me.

Its the realization at the moment just how potentially fucked you really may be that gives you nightmares.....literally

I will NEVER again go through a door that could trap me, lock me or do anything like that ever again with out at the very least jamming it. I dont care how cool it may look hahahaha.

the other side had no tags. these were very new tags. as well as the med building. the latin kings and center tower tags maybe older.

we passed each other a few times on the highway. i finally snapped a pic. i got her email at the next gas stop about 50 miles down the road and emailed it to her last night.
