So, just kinda throwing this out there as a newbie, but how much interest would there be in a little meet n greet sometime early in 2013, maybe Feb or March? I am not sure how many full members would be interested or how many there are locally but I know there are a handful of new members I've seen around. Maybe a meet for coffee or something closer to the Eastside. Discuss ways to find places, cool explores we've had or what not.

Not a bad idea to at least get to know some locals. Good luck and keep us posted. I would suggest holding a meetup closer to downtown rather than east, unless you know something I don't yet ;)

Hey there, I'm always up for a meetup. As Crypton suggested, downtown would probably be best but I'm open to a bit of travel.

i wouldn't mind helping facilitate this. i suppose a casual meet up at something like starbucks or some other coffee house would be a good place to start, then we can see about going out and looking at location or two.

ok people it looks like in the next couple weeks we'll have a day to get together, is there a particular day that works for people? in the short term i happen to have the next three days off. past that we'll need to pick a day.

I'm thinking a Sunday would work best for me, but outside of my 9-5 I can make anything work.

I'm available any evening and all day Saturday. On Sundays I teach skiing, so I wouldn't be able to do anything until 4 pm or so.
