Houston High Rise Mission!
entry by Jakk_Handsome

So I went and found the number for the company that handles the abandoned high rise building I've been lusting after. They don't seem to eager to let me actually into the building to photograph it, but we'll see. I figured that this one was easier to ask permission since I'm no longer a precocious tween.

It's amazing once your hair turns a little gray and you start looking middle aged, people either assume one of two things about you if they catch you on an explore.

1, *He's Supposed to Be Here, and I just wasn't informed* I've seen this go over the face of multiple caretakers and security guards when I don't react in a way that means suspicion.

2, *This guys some kind of Pervert/Drug Addict/Democrat, and I must Get Him to Justice!* This usually happens when the caretaker is high on drugs himself, or, is one of those super insecure security guards. Or they catch me peeing on a George W Bush campaign poster and laughing to myself.

Anyways, so I called the guy who has control and ownership of an abandoned high rise apartment complex in downtown today. The fact that the high rise is being scrapped out for copper is kind of disheartening, that means the place is going to be demolished soon, and I'd like to get my 'Splore on in that building.

I've plotted out a means to get in without benefit of permission, but that method is dodgy as any other. We'll see what happens, I hope they just don't really have guard dogs at the site, that'd fuck everything up.
