So then, Av has started a journal section for UE. Well, this is quite cool.

I've been writing about my UE exploits in my own personal journal, but no one really gave a shit about the stuff I write there (And I've actually had people email me telling me to stop lying about the places I've been, hahaha). So now I have someplace to write about my exploits online! Mwahaha!

Well, as far as first entries go this sort of sucks, but oh well.

During OPEX I actually didn't do a whole lot of exploring like I thought I would. I would up getting stuck financially last-minute during it so I only had a days worth of bus fare going to the kickoff BBQ. The whole time during the convention I was sort of scrounging for money from home, and bumming rides off people to go to things (Thanks again Drie! ). And WALKING. Oh man, I did a lot of walking during OPEX.

The only real exploration I did was an abandoned building that Noah, Polyester, one of the guys from UEA (I kinda forgot his name) and I came across. We decided to check it out real quick, but being as big as I am I didn't really trust the floors there, as the place was in the middle of being converted into lofts and didn't look too safe. Getting in was easy enough, though.

Well, they went poking around the five stories, but apparently didn't see much. Being as paranoid as I am, I didn't go up too far but from what I saw it was fairly boring, so I went back down to the basement (where we got in from) and waited around for them to come back. After that, we wound up walking to Poly's place and crashing.

Unforunetly, I missed the last day of OPEX 'cuz of that stayover. x_X Insomnia hit me hard and by the time morning came around, I was tired and I only had bus fare to get home. I didn't have enough time to get home, get bus fare and come back and the fact I was tired as hell wasn't helping, so I wound up crashing as soon as I got in and missed Jester's seminar, much to my chagrine. Nothing can be done about it now, though.

Well anyways, I'll write about my further UE exploits in here, should this section of the forum last. Have fun reading, folks.
