Old photo of the Sante Fe coal tipple at the ghost town of Skedee in Pawnee county, taken shortly before it's destruction in 1984. This was one to only two remaining in North America when it was razed. The last surviving Sante Fe coal tipple is at Cushing, Oklahoma.

The remains of the ghost town of Dilworth in Kay county. Once an oil boom town with several thousand people, this is about all that remains to mark its existence.

A cool old photo dug out by someone else that I thought I would repost here. This is a photo of the U.S. Naval zeppelin "City of Los Angeles" getting ready to dock at the Boston building in downtown Tulsa in the 1930s.

My kind of sunset.

...the wings on my shoes shrank now the moths won't eat my kidneys, when i shake my state capital it only yields 3 fairy napkins, but how do i know my banana slippers are like water boats because when the moon winks it burns my hamster punches, and that's how you get to llama school rowing your canoe backwards up main street when the front bumper falls off, do mermaids get to drink orange juice?
