Really liking the minimalism in 17. The big oval tunnel looks promising, did it go very far?

Nice! one of my favorite drains. There's a really long, interesting section if you go farther upstream

About 45 feet straight up. If you look closely at the right side there's a ladder.

Walnut Creek huh. I've never been in it but it goes in a long tunnel called the broadway extension then it goes somewhere under Macy's and comes out at maria Maria's.

Some kids had a big time misadventure in there last year during a storm on a raft.

I know this location well. As I did this one for my first explore in the area.

I only go during the dry season, so I don't need to bring a raft.

You guys are mixing up tunnels.

The photos I recognize here are from Orinda as per the location mentioned by TheRebelUrbanExplorer.

There are 2 tunnels in Walnut Creek that almost run into each other. (Though one contains a split that goes 2 different directions.)

And there's a different tunnel at 24 near the Caldicott tunnel.

I think there's at least one photo from each of them here:

I've live in Walnut Creek for only four years. You should get out more!
The place you asked about isn't in WC proper.
Look on the left of your screen. Then click on UE DB, United States, California, and then look in cities surrounding Walnut Creek.
It's publicly viewable, and there's a clue in the thread title.
I can't give you much more than that without telling you outright. Where's the fun and adventure in that!?!?!?
Happy hunting! Cheers!

P.S. There are no operas in any tunnels I've been in.
I have seen pics of a chandelier in one though!
