The City of Toronto left an Emergency Notice on the gate around a month ago. There was all kinds of police tape around the eastern side of the building, and the notice said that unless the owner made access impossible, the city would do it themselves and send the property owner a bill.

I haven't been by in a while, but that's pretty weird news. I never saw any evidence of physical damage to the place other than a single tag in the main hall. But that could be different now--I hope this wasn't because me.....

I got some information a few months ago. Apparently back in June there was a fire that burned down the garage that used to neighbour student hall. When fire crews were putting out the flame they wanted to inspect the potential damage caused next door. Once they realized the state of the building they issued the warning/notice to the owner(s).
