Iraq is seriously not a oil producer compared to the rest of the countries. Especailly Iran. Second Iraq has WMD's they have used them on there own people. Also Isreal blew up there Nuke facility in Iraq. Not to mention Iraq had SCUD missles during the first war and this one and we have found ZERO. You cant deny that they have had the stuff before however finding it is harder.

Lastly for you guys who dont believe there are chemical weaopons well I hate to tell you but thats wrong. My friend was there and his platoon sargernt and officer were looking for documents in a building. Both were standing at a table and one opened a drawer. Both began vomiting so they had everyone put on there masks. They tested the area and found chemical weapons in the air and in the drawer contraption that sprayed the area. The two soldiers began geting sores on there body and were romved to the hospital. Now tell me there are no chemical weapons.

Yes. There may have been some vomit-enducing gases trapped in a drawer (???). But should we be going to war over that? No.
But I don't plan on arguing this much further. Those associated with the military almost always see through the sceptics and pull these personal accounts out of their asses (that somehow never surface in the media).

We know full well that if WMD or anything comparable to that were ever found it'd be airing on CNN for the next 6 months and Georgey Porgey would be coming back in 2004.

Do soldiers take home "souveniers" they might find around very often? I remember reading something in a political journal about war psychology and how it's pretty common for soldiers to just lift a few things to take with them when they'd never think of stealing back home.

Yes and no. Most theft over there happened with americans stealing from the military itself. It will happen however most of the stuff I brought home was all payed for. There are laws against takeing thing and people have been siverly prosectured for it.

Citizens in that area have a reputation of hiding things right under your nose, and you would never find them. So the WMD's may very well be there, you may have walked over their hiding place, and never realized it. Something to think about. Evidence was found of their existance, so that tells me that they have to be somewhere.

I have to convert the bastards from a slide show. Its a whole bunch of pictures of things that were placed underground. Some grunt literly tripped over one day and thought it was a bomb. It also occure on the base I was on and had been missed for several months.

On the build up to it, when the inspectors were there, what I didn't get was the press cons and the pictures in the paper... circling a bunch of trucks claiming "This is mobile chemical weapons lab leaving here..." and on the other side of the picture another circle with the caption "This is UN weapon inspectors entering here"

I find all that a bit suspect. If they were mobile weapons labs then surely they woulda just stopped them then. Anyone can show a picture and bullshit their way through a story.
