I'm not 100% sure about what I'm posting in here, but if memory serves me correctly...

This church was being built in part by monetary contributions made by Tony Roman (a fairly prestigious family in Markham). After Tony died, his family cut off the funding for the project, which is part of the reason why there's still those wooden stacking chairs instead of pews in the sanctuary. I also believe that Tony Roman is in a tomb in the basement (if it's not him, there's somebody else down there).
