Thank you for your compliments. Fostoria was an amazing place to visit, mostly because of how intact the factory's contents were despite being closed for nearly twenty years. I haven't run across any transformers that I can remember offhand. I'm not entirely certain what electrical vaults are, so I can't speak to that. There is a local theater that I've explored from time to time that has an enormous and old electrical panel -- it amazes me that it still can be used, but they do use it. It hums, too... *shakes head* Wait... Yes I have run across transformers, and electrical vaults too, I'm sure (whatever they may be). I had a rare opportunity to see a working, hydroelectric powerhouse. I'll be posting galleries of that once I get them scanned -- hopefully in a few weeks. *fingers crossed* While I was there, I even stood inside a turbine generating 35 MW of electricity. Unfortunately, I couldn't get back far enough to get a picture that would show the turbine shaft very well... Again, thanks for your compliments!
