Checked this place out recently, it's still there, despite a big tree having fallen on it and some serious overgrowth blocking the trail farther down the path. Maybe bring a machete if you want to reach the train tracks.
The legends of the demonic hellhounds guarding these ruins still persist to this day, while I didn't encounter any, I did a bit of research and found that the land was once owned by James Madill, an early Scottish settler to the region, in 1877. Maybe the dogs once belonged to him, I wonder if he had any connections to the supernatural.
