Welcome to UER!
I wrote up a random thread that happened to be in Altus, you can check it out if you want to here:https://uer.ca/for...urrpage=1&pp#post0
I've climbed a few cranes in Dallas, but to be honest, I've been a little reluctant to climb them over the last year or two because I just have a feeling more and more companies are starting to take more security measures, (most likely because of the rise in popularity in climbing cranes and then people posting them all over places like instagram, etc).
That said, if you do decide to climb one, I suggest finding one that is surrounded by a building (under construction) so that all you have to do is climb a couple flights of stairs and step onto the crane rather than trying to get around those walls and cages they are usually secured with on the bottom.
Here is the best example I could quickly dig up of what I'm talking about:
The concrete surrounding the cage is part of the construction of the building.
And finally, the view from the top:
I would also highly suggest only going at night... For obvious reasons.
And most importantly, be sure to post pictures here from the top!
