took a visit to the BiCroft mine in Bancroft ON to make my Geiger counter happy diden't get much activity here though

1. this is the entrance to the mine (no its not a drain pipe), you could feel the cold air coming up from deep under


just around there was a valley and the walls had small amounts of uranium in them you could tell people had been mining here likely prospectors.

i also went to McDonald mine in Bancroft near BiCroft ish and got high Geiger counter readings but never found the shaft. i dont think that one is capped so it would have been cool.
here is the main gate

and some sort of old pump, i think to keep water out of the mine but it could be unrelated


just over 150 cpm at some spots
