It is heavily used, a buddy and I checked it out on 12/14/18 and trucks were driving through the property and we almost got caught.

The site should be safe about now, Construction on neighboring apartments may be a hazard though. I'd love to check this place out but I don't know if it's still 100% safe

Just went there a bit ago, with no problems whatsoever throughout the visit but the apartments are more or less finished now. So as long as you stay cautious of that end of the quarry as well as the fence near the road, it is pretty safe.
