| | | I went here about May this year, I didn't end up going into the house, mostly because of the wasps, but there was something that scared the shit out of me. I was walking towards the barn when I realized something. There was 4 rabbits hanging from the door of the barn. I retreated back to the area with the two cars and tried to gather the courage to go into the barn. I heard a gate slam shut and at this point I thought it was about time to leave. I was walking back to the car which was parked in front of the tracks. When I was about to crawl under the gate the train zoomed past. I fell backwards into a bush. I was half scared that some homeless man covered in rabbit blood was just going walk out of the barn, so I just laid there waiting for the train to pass. Once it did I bolted to the car and left. You said you felt like someone was watching you, maybe it was a homeless man walking back to the barn carrying some dead rabbits. When did you go? I'd advise anyone planing to go here to bring pepper spray or at least explore with caution. Maybe I shouldn't have been as scared as I was, but those rabbits where killed with something and the only thing I had to defend myself was a camera. I mean besides that I though the place was beautiful, I was able to stay long sadly. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the rabbits, mostly because again I was spooked as fuck. Just be careful if your planning to go. Also the whole front deck area had collapsed. It's kinda weird. I might go back and explore a bit more, maybe with a friend this time. I might get pepper spray too, just in case.
