My brother once knocked out a tooth running through some of the crevices- he had a flashlight in his pocket, but wasn't using it, so he slammed into a wall when the hall curved unexpectedly.

You also can't find all of the interesting areas without a flashlight. You simply can't see the good spots to climb up/ go into.
