Yeah it's the goal of the new town center to preserve the basic structure and some of the art work. A similar thing is happening in the East Bay to the Historic ink factory. Best case scenario from both well known bandos is being repurposed instead of demolished.

Didn't hear about the ink factory! What's going on with that one?

They are repurposing it for its new owners. There is talk of having a roof top garden and some or new art to preserved. I have been flying my drone over and around the warehouse and finally was able to fly inside of the warehouse since they ripped the windows out. I always wanted to see the inside.

I'm posting this from my phone, so hopefully all of the photos upload correctly. Anyways, I went here back in 2017 and had a fun time snooping around. I luckily found 4 untouched Coronas and helped myself to them. The urbex gods were kind to me that day. Very nice location.

The statue of liberty and the woman's face appears to be the same artist, super cool spot and art!

This spot really is a cool place. It's such a huge complex with so much to see. The architecture is really remarkable, especially with the large amount of enormous arches. Anyways here is a few shots from my trip.

Thanks for the compliments. And I didn't notice it when I was there. What was it suppose to look like? Seems like this place gets tagged all the time.

Took me a while to find this one, but, here is the delightful twist on DaVinci's last supper in spray paint on concrete:

Dang that's pretty awesome. I totally missed that when I was there. I guess it gives me another reason to go back now. I'll have to update you back when I go again and let you know. Thanks for getting back to me!

Thanks I think I will check it out! Is the security situation there high or do I not really have to worry about anything?

No security to speak of when I was there, not much to worry about except for maybe the land owner, but you should be fine. Doubt that will be a problem.

No need to worry about security, completely non existent. There was someone working in the field when I last visited, but I lurked and he never saw me.
