Green Hollow School
< on 5/15/2018 11:59 PM >

This is one of only a few remaining buildings of a former school. Tucked away behind a graveyard in a small town in NY. This building housed the gymnasium/auditorium and the basement appeared to house kitchens and likely storage. A few other smaller buildings remain and have be re purposed as houses.

The gym floors are extremely warped from years of water intrusion. It was the middle of winter when we went and the entire floor of the gym had a layer of ice several inches thick. This would be a rather sloppy and soggy explore in warmer weather.

This is solid dude. Love that projection equipment. We were discussing swinging by here when we were in the area last but decided to head home instead. Next time we will have to stop by.

Thanks bud! I discussed the place briefly with Mookster, it would have been a pretty quick one for you guys. But I know you had a busy day already. This one is *kind of* halfway between me and you and I have some other places nearby. So it could always be a meet up for the day kind of thing at some point.

I think you got some great shots here. Love the warped floors and the green walls and the teal curtain upstage. Very cool and very old projection systems. Those alone are ALWAYS a nice find

That floor is trippy. It's crazy what time and neglect will do to a building.

The projection equipment is super cool! Gives you an idea on how long this place has really been abandoned!

Nice photo's ... those old film projectors are insane. A good friend of mine was the projectionist at the local art house Towne Cinema and they had the same old film projectors with carbon arc lighting ... man was that bright. I remember one night he gave us a private screening of Terry Gilliam's film Brazil. That was amazing ... with a bit of UE content

Love the shot of the TV and the warped floors. I've seen a few floors bulge from decay before but never quite like this! Almost looks like veins or tunnels.
