Posted by WEKurtz Spotted E-Type Jag-u-are yesterday. They were pretty high-maintenance, what with tunable spoke wheels and electrics by Lucas, prince of darkness. The coupes were nowhere near as popular as the ragtop. Hat to shoot thru the window. Busy dash. Kurtz |
Posted by bandi I *actually* managed to get a Jag E-Type to start in the rain last month. Gorgeous car. Too bad that one is an automatic, that's just wrong. |
Posted by Squashtowner That whole car screams late 80s Cavalier! |

Posted by Squashtowner Oh I knew they were RWD -- but there were a LOT of shared styling cues. I had quite a few Cavaliers over the years lol. |
Anyone remember the movie where one of these split in half after a chase? |
Posted by Samurai i had 8 Cavaliers: 1991 RS coupe 1999 Z22 coupe 1988 RS coupe 1984 Type 10 coupe 1996 coupe 1985 Type 10 hatchback 1998 RS coupe clone 1998 sedan |

Posted by HarvestmanMan I feel a lot more pity for you now. |
Posted by Squashtowner Hay now! 1994 was the last REAL year for the Cavaliers. I had a 1990 in MINT shape. I traded it in in 99 on a Sunfire, and should have kept the Cavalier. |
Posted by Samurai the 3rd gen cars weren't bad... the choice to go with the 2.3L Quad 4/2.4L Twin Cam was questionable at best. But after having a couple of 3100 (the replacement for the MPFI 3.1L), the 3100 just wasn't any fun. |
