Posted by ali_boom-boom sorry to bring the thread off-topic again, but some funny names i've run across are rodney dikoff and benjamin dover. i overheard some people talking at work: "His name is Ben Dover?!" i was laughing the rest of the day. there are a lot of not-so-bright parents out there.

I remember watching a documentary years ago which interviewed a guy called Benjamin Dover. Apparently he was one of the UK's largest porn movie producers at the time. Chris

While exploring a place once, I came across a dead body in a burnt out car that took two to the head. I called the police and they did thier thing.

I've come across two people (whom I've actually met and, in the case of one, known) called Dan Arden and Charles Hardern. I've yet to come across a Mr Hardon, but I bet he exists somewhere. Chris

Found this poor little guy this afternoon. I thought he was cut in half at first, then realized he got stuck climbing through a hole in a steel plate. Shitty way to go...

Nice. My high school english teacher was Mr. Bader. Whenever anyone complained about anything, he'd shout "Oh yeah? Well at least your name doesn't sound like 'Masturbator!'"

This adds to the funny things found side... I found these in an old motel that had a strip club in it. so big and cuddly!
And my geek is showing.
It's a tragedy. It's exactly like a greek tragedy. We should only be Greeks. |

Found this along with a skinned cat and a dogs head, never found the body.
It was in September, we saw their silhouettes fade away, outlined on the horizon against the rays of the setting sun. |

i of course have found the typical dead animals: birds, cats, raccoons, etc. at byberry there were the remains of a deer that has been cut up and put on a board with a pentagram spray painted on it (Satanists.... pfft.), and there was also a bird hung from the ceiling with a bit of wire around its neck. i also have been to an abandoned stockyard that was filled with all sorts of animal bits, including (interestingly) a fox face - just half of the snout. The best part is that i seem to have the magical ability to only find these things when they are less than a foot away from my shoes. at first i think they're bits of debris, then... oh! that's a vertebrae. yay. thank god i haven't found a dead person yet. i would feel obligated to call the police on that, but i'd rather not find one just the same. blackoutangel00 abandonedamerica.org

It is the head of a vulture. This one place in maryland is full of animal heads thrown around the place in a festive manner.
