| | | I don't know about any abandoned places, but I was just up there the past week. And the architecture is frickin' great.

| | | Whenever I drive through Richmond theres always this building with a clock tower right up against 95 that always catches my eye.

| | | ^^I've seen that building! It's an old stone building, right? I've always wondered about that place too.

| | | That's the place! Thanks, Tick. According to the website it was closed for nearly 30 years. Anyone ever been exploring there?

| | | Man, I love that place! When I was there I took some shots while driving by. I can upload them if anybody would like. Unfortunately, they were off of the highway, so they're only of the tower. Edit: There's one that has part of the building in it, but its kinda..crooked. [last edit 4/19/2006 1:07 AM by Coker19 - edited 1 times]

| | | I'm going to be driving through Virginia on Thursday May 4th and I was planning on checking out a couple places in the Petersburg area sometime in the afternoon. If anyone wanted to meet up send me a PM.

| | | I've seen a few places recently that look intresting in crap neighborhood near Broad Street that I don't dare enter alone. Also, a few places off of 360 that are totally abandoned. One ironically is a Car Lot that has signs in the window still that say "In bussiness for over 30 years!" even though windows are cracked and the door is probably falling off the hinges.

| | | So I'm going down to Richmond this week-end and wondered if anyone actually has got into any place down there. Clock tower looks great but seems active. how about the stuff off the 360? what kind of area is it?

You really want to check out the bottom (Shockoe) and the Church Hill area.
