As Samurai said, and I wholeheartedly agree, when it comes to cars, fuck ethics.
Unfortunately, the "owner" knows that I want it. He also refuses to sell. I suppose he'd rather it sit in the barn collecting dust and going to shit.
It's all original too. Willy's Jeep stamped right on the engine block. The only thing it needs is a gas tank and a wind shield. I admit I don't know a whole lot about Willys, but I've never seen one with that paint scheme either.

Did it have a PTO out back? These were also sold to farmers as a work horse. They had tons of cool options that ran off the PTO. Basically it could be used as a tractor.
The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?

Ah, same deal with the asshat who owns all the Volkswagens I posted. 10-15 years ago, most of the 30 cars he had in his field were restorable, now they're a bunch of parts cars. I honestly don't think a single one is worth restoring at this point, and I'm a VW fanatic who would try to rescue anything.

The early Land Rovers were designed to be used like tractors, not sure if many were.
