Posted by SourDiesel wont work...thought about it though this location is right in the middle of downtown and someone will see any rope that is put up, not to mention i will not be able to put the lid back on(not a drain lid), as funny as it would be to see a drunk person fall down a hole, i personally know it sucks and cant have that while im in it.( maby i will open a drain on pandora and watch the crackheads fall in after telling them theres a 50 rock down there) im almost considering just bringing a latter with me, that's a little weird at 3am if im not fast, another option ive thought of is dropping down and hoping for the best, another exit shit a latter or something to boost my self up.(stupid idea in my mind i would do it none the less) as i am being laid off on this friday, if im lucky i have another week or to, i plan to do this as early as monday night anyone interested in joining PM me

Maybe someone will infil her bank account. I'm pleased with this outcome, re: the sale. It will be a fine, fine day when these old hulks finally get a breath of fresh air. That said, it will be a strange, strange day to see them finally opened.

I saw the interior pics and almost wet my pants... I would seriously consider buying a condo in there, but judging on the price of good ol' Morley's remaining vacancy it'll cost me. (A 428 sq ft loft for $297 000?? No thanks.) Historic building AND waterfront? Please God, let me win the lottery... Tell me about it. My entire life they've been boarded up.

We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained we must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be by the better angels of our nature. |

So what do you think will become of those places now? Condos or something?

The developer who bought them said they'll be putting businesses and condos together. The buildings are two and three stories, albeit tiny! He's known for having < 300 ft condos in Vancouver, so he'll figure something out I guess.

Great link YW. Cool news indeed, the guy has a record of heritage respect. If in his shoes I would have bought the Janion before either of these. But he's Mr. Smarty Man so probably has a good reason. Hopefully he'll buy the Janion too. And talking of that part of town, a big High 5 to Ross C. and friends, congratulations for your recent bridge work. *Good article in current FOCUS Mag

Yes...our good friend Ross Crockford and his team did an excellent job in halting the arrogant people in City Hall from a) putting Victoria into a multimillion dollar hole, and b) galvanizing citizens to i) stand up and fight, and ii) demonstrate their love of heritage structures (even if the bridge isn't technically a heritage structure, though it should be).

Glad to seed the bridge is staying. Governments are quick to abuse our money. Over spending justifies high taxes, and muddies the waters of what funds are going where. I can't imagine Victoria without a train station right downtown.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |

Posted by J Peterman Anyone have any connections that could lead to getting ahold of a sonar ground penetrator thingy. You know, you like...roll it across the ground and it sends out sound waves that penetrate the the ground and send back information...like the whereabouts of cavities.
