Hate to revive an old thread but it looks like this whole board is dead. I've only read an issue or 2 of the mag but I have lived/loved the culture associated with it for as long as I can remember. I have been trying to get something local going for the past couple years but it seems like everyone in the SW 519/226 has lost interest
It's at the point that I'm considering joining some 313/248 clubs. I know that 2600Hz is dead (unless you know the right number in Alaska), but I would think more people in SW Ontario would be into hacking "everyday life". IDK where I'm going with this post but I DO know that if anyone south of London and north of (and including) the Detroit area is still in the 2600 scene, myself and a few friends would love to meet up with you. PM me if you are active in the area. Also, for the Detroiters/Windsorites on this board, I do monitor channels 9,11,18,19 and 30 on CB. Hit me up sometime if you haven't upgraded to Amateur yet. My callsign is Meshif (pronounced "meh-sheef").
