Hello people, been lurking around this site for a while now and my growing fascination with abandoned buildings prompted me to register.

I'd really like to meet up with some people here in Ft Collins/Northern Colorado for some exploration and adventuring before the snow sets in.

I especially like the photography of these old places.

I really haven't done too much myself aside from exploring an old school before it was converted into luxury condos years ago.

Hello everyone,

I have been a member here since the beginning of the year, but I thought that I would finally come out and post a bit.

I have done some limited exploring, but unfortunately South Florida has not been very conducive to finding good spots. I explored the former Rose Gardens in Cape Coral before it became condos, I explored the Belleview Builtmore in Clearwater before they banned me from there for snooping around, and I explored Al Capone's summer home before they tore it down.

Just for the record, this is perhaps the best hobby ever.

Hey, The names spin but i had to throw the J in there cause someone else took spin. I live in southern ontario and am an avid photographer. I've been on the site for months just looking at pictures but never actually posted so im posting now cause well yeah...
I have a few questions though. when and if i do get to member status will the Database be bigger? Cause it seems small for my area and i can name a few buildings that arn't on the database so i was just wondering if the DB is small because i dont have full access or because no one has logged the buildings yet.

Well, I've been exploring here and there with Furious D. for a couple years now and thought it was high time to plug myself into this community. He's finishing up his flight training and I switched to a different flight school so I moved back to Ontario. It's been fun Furious, but it's time to break out on my own. I don't have a camera right now but hopefully by Christmas I'll have one and start posting photos.

Well hello everybody

Id like to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer... I'm a 25 year old mommy of 2 young boys and a wife to an AMAZING man... we met at 16 and I knew he was my soul mate the second i laid eyes on him <3

I am a stay at home mommy and photographer. (I mainly do maternity, children, and family stuff)... hey it brings in the bacon ;) I enjoy my job... its my passion... but what I really love... is exploring ;) hence the reason Ive joined the site LOL

Ive been more of a tom boy my whole life... hangin with the guys building BMX tracks... exploring old places in the middle of no where... basically getting dirty and getting into trouble No makeup or dresses for me!

My daddy has always been a HUGE UE'er (lol) and would take me exploring all the time... ever since I could walk pretty much! I LOVED every second! I continue to still have a strong urge to explore... gives me butterflies just thinking of it!! I haven't done anything near what most of you guys have done... but Ive got my hands dirty a little bit quite a few times. I have a 5 year old and a 3 month old... so its VERY hard to explore what and when i want to explore... once the boys get a little older I'm sure they will join me (my oldest already has)

Ive been watching the forums and enjoying all the pictures. Ive decided to finally make myself known so I can reply to the posts.

I in NO way am coming on here thinking I'm this big shot UE'er... I know I suck LOL... I haven't gone the places you guys have and I probably wont ever get the chance :/... But I do want to say that my heart is in UE'ing and I'm totally in aw checking all the stuff out that you guys do. So please dont beat me up too bad when I post my lame little boring shots of cool places... they are cool to me... even if they are boring to you!

Thank you so much for reading this if youve gotten this far in my rambling LOL

Happy UE'ing everybody

-Jenn

Heres a little from last nights adventure

Me and my partner in crime (my cousin) went out last night to practice some night shots... This is what we found (remember I had my 5 year old and my 3 month old sleeping in the truck lol so going further then 10 feet from the truck wasnt going to happen)

Me In action

Across the street

2nd Site:

A water tower at a prison

The boys started to wake up after this... so we headed home to put them in bed... we continued playing with lighting in the backyard... but i wont bore you with those lol

EDIT: After posting i realized i use WAAAAY to many smiley faces haha... so I decided to take some out. <--- there i go again!

Inkhanspicuous checking in here....

I've actually known about UER for quite some time. For a long time it was cool to read stuff like Infiltration and Field Reports here and immerse yourself in a different world; like reading a novel or book. But now, I'm ready to experience it first hand! I look forward to exploring with y'all!

Hi everyone,
As you can guess I'm new here. I stumbled across this site looking into the history of the tunnels under Victoria. I've seen some things around town that have made me sonder over the years. And I've been to some places that I would love to go back and explore sometime. I'm more of a researcher at heart, but love to get out there and get dirty. If anyone is still out there and interested in talking about this particular subject I would really love to share some of what I know, and mostly what I think. I've put in hours of research to get to the bottom of family history and am thinking about how to get into some of these buildings. I have been under the Empress, not far but far enough. Ciao for now!

Hello, my name is Troy but everyone calls me Froyus. I love exploring, and that is only surpassed by my love of taking pictures.

I have explored the Schaffer Bros. concrete plant,

American Laundry building

The Bennets School

The Hudson River Psychiatric Center

Also Photec, The Sykes Building, RG&E BeeBee Station, Upton Cold Storage, Rochester Subway System and multiple random houses. I am looking forward to meeting some new people and possibly finding some new places to explore.

Any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still know where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

Howdy y'all... My name is Rachel and I've been exploring this site for a couple months now and am FINALLY a member...and proud to be I've done some exploring in the past and have gone on a few resent outings with my Partner in Crime...I'm currently an art student studying animation doing a lot of graphic design personally on the side. I love, love, love photography and unfortunately i don't get to do it enough. My schooling has to be my first priority right now so when thats over and done with I'll throw myself out into the world to take as many pictures as possible. So for now my pictures may be a lil amateur for some people's taste but i don't mind a few critiques from time to time

hi all...i'm esther.

i'm from richmond hill, ontario, but am currently living in haliburton, where i go to the school of the arts.
i've only been into urban exploration since may (thanks to a certain forum member taking me to barber mill, kennedy house, and a few other places) but i thoroughly enjoy it.

i have been reading the boards for the past couple weeks and am happy to finally be a member

who might this member be? ah?

They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn!

hey, so first off, woo i can post. anyway, so yeah me and a friend of mine have been getting into some exploration, mostly for the photography and also atmosphere; very thrilling. in any case, so yeah i've been wandering some places where i live, around southern new hampshire. so far it's been pretty sick, there's a few places that me and my friend have been to that we'd def like to add to the site and learn about some new ones. been to probablyly like 6 or locations so far but that's hopefully gonna grow fast. but yeah, so that's me and i guess nice to meet all you other guys here.

edit:

guess i'll show some photos too (some of my favorites and then some locations i guess), enjoy
