Looks interesting. Although judging by the picture, the place has become another paintball hotspot like Nike Site Bay.

I'll have to check it out one of these days. Do you have directions?

Yeah man, if your in downtown Kenai, head north towards Nikiski, Right before or after the city limits sign,( i forget which )take a right on borgan street. Head down to the end. You will see a back entrance to wildwood prison on the right (The old barracks) but take a left onto the dirt road. Go to until you the road cuts into a y, follow it around the left. A few blocks down you will see the entrance on your right, it will look just like the photo.

Found it on Google Earth. Two buildings and what looks like a pond of some sorts off to the left. Now I have to plan a trip.

Haha, yeah nothing to great to look at now, its just cool as fuck knowing what it housed... Bunch of rednecks pulled out and tried to burn alot of the Asbestos to get rid of it. not knowing it made it worse. but its pretty open inside, so im sure its fine without a mask. you can get on the roof of the main building by climbing hand holds cut out of the wall. And every inch of the place is covered with graffiti, like: bath in the blood of the dead babies. haha. somtimes used for partys at night, but mostly people dont ever go there.... never seen cops or anything either, if you look at google maps, check out right where the loop starts and instead of going right, or left, there a little straight road, theres a little bit of stuff there too. nothing big tho.

let me know if you have any more questions. i'll be going there at somepoint this summer, and ill post the pictures then...

I also noticed what appears to be a gate along the road leading to the area. I think there's an ATV-ish track that runs off to the left before and parallels the road and rejoins later. Did you walk or drive to the buildings?
