Layover in Seattle
< on 5/19/2008 8:12 PM >
Posted on Forum: UER Forum

Just a heads up to our fellow explorers in the Puget Sound, I have a layover in Seattle while I am taking my vacation in Vancouver, BC on June 30th to July 3rd.

The reason why I have a layover is that I am taking the Amtrak Cascades but want to ride a specific train (#510) there so this requires me to take the #516 to King Street Station the night before and as a result, I have a 12 hour layover.

So basically, I am up for doing well...things...while I have this layover.

Anyone interested?

I had an 8hr air travel layover a couple years ago. I spent it at the space needle, the underground tour, and dicking around the waterfront. I found out later that there are certain explorable areas of the underground that one can easily access, as well as other more modern subterranean stuff in downtown.

Turn off the internet and go play outside.

Yup, the 29th. I'm right now looking for having dinner then perhaps finding somewhere to crash for a few hours before I head back on the train. Any takers?

Maybe a ten minute cab ride on a Sunday night, but the question is what the cab driver would think...
