|  | | | Not much remains of the old Sidney Island Brick Company, but the location has some interesting history. The bricks for the Empress Hotel in Victoria were produced here. It appears that the rejects were simply dumped on the sandy white beaches.
Some building foundations still remain, but that's about it. Not too far from this site I found what looks like an old bomb shelter. It is small in size, and has wooden benches on either side of the walls.

Somewhere on the island is an underground bunker or two. but last year when I was camping there my friend and I spent all day looking for one with no success.

Just so ya know, you can upload images up to 100 KB in size. 600 x 800 with high JPEG compression usually fits the bill.

| | | | Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I love that place (Sidney Island). Has anyone ever noticed that there are little blood sucking bugs on the beach? Seriously. I have never encountered this any where else. Very strange!
