Not sure if this link has been posted yet, but even if it has, I doubt everyone has seen it since I couldn't find any mention of it in the Pac NW forums.

Who is going to put up the cash for this one? I'd love to check it out, but I doubt the owner is up for too many photo tours.

I saw this on here a few weeks ago. It's even on the new threads page!

Suppose I might have checked the main board before posting. As is proper, I'll leave it rather than redacting per UER policy. Forgive my ignorance.

I think this place gets thrown up on eBay once or twice every year, I've been seeing that set of photos and description with the 1.5m price tag for a very long time.

Barry is a cool guy. Very protective of his property though.

What are the chances of getting a tour of the places, assuming the owner knows it's out of photographic/UE interest rather than in order to buy the place? I'd gladly drive up with a few people for a good look. The place seems to be pretty cool, and I've yet to get inside a missile silo of any kind.

Depends on who's representing you I think. A student tour on behalf of the Archeology department at the nationally recognized university is a tad bit different from Joe schmoe and his army of friends wants to go take pictas.

If a house is for sale, its expected to get tours. the seller would expect anyone is a potential buyer to ask for a tour. send the guy an email, sound as serious as possible and you should have no problem.

The guy selling this place seems fishy. I someone who has been in the real estate/mortgage business for 10 years, I would have nothing to do with this guy.

Well, as I watched last night, call up and say you are a news reporter for some local station anywhere. She got in. Maybe the guy thinks it's good advertising since they did mention it was for sale.
