I hate to necropost, and to be off topic, but after seeing all of these animals that have been ritually killed by a satanist, or the animals that were abused, and realizing that the people that do this shit are still in some of these abandonments, how do you argue so vehemently against carrying self defense utensils? How can you put someone down, and call them stupid if they decide to carry tools meant to protect themselves from the very same circumstances that caused these dead animals? Against some of these sick bastards, your little 3D maglite won't be enough.

I found another pigeon today, he was pretty good with a little minced garlic and some Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce.

Here's a dog I found in a dried up riverbed. I know this is gruesome, but at least he died of natural causes.

Well he wasnt dismembered or crucified or anything like that, I suppose he could have been hit by a car. But since I found him in a desert, I figured he most likely got lost and died from exhaustion, and then got washed down into the gully during a flood. Who knows

I once stumbled upon a scene that I later determined to be the result of an overly curious squirrel meeting an industrial ventilation fan.

It appeared to still have a collar around it's neck.
I would've at least checked the ID and gave the the dog a proper burial.
But, that's what the desert tends to sometimes.

I did feel kinda bad, seeing as it was someones pet, but its just part of the circle of life I guess. We left him there and when I came back a few months later he was washed away, there were just some bones left.

yesterday I checked out this abandoned house, now this house, it appeared the family got up and left all their belongings. Now normally stuff left behind is cool right? Not in this case....ALL the stuff in the house was in piles on the floor, I literally had to wade through the junk on the floor. Most of which consisted of rotting clothing. In the living room the TV sat in a sea of decaying clothing and scattered toys and board games. Upstairs, more huge piles of rotting clothing and scattered broken toys along with bird and animal crap made for a really gross sight. All the food was still left in the kitchen and was scattered all over. It was practically a garbage dump in every single room of the house, smelled horrible. I didn't even take any pictures inside because it was too disgusting. I'll never walk through a whole house if the first room is anything like this place again.

On my way out I checked out a side barn, just as full of crap as the house and made the mistake of opening the freezer there slightly...full of old meat and frozen dinners...what a disgusting stench.

While in one of the houses here on Monday, I saw a complete mummified cat in a garage. Prob. 30 years ago it died in there, but it was cool and gross at the same time. I did get photos of it, which I'll post in a couple days.

I once moved into a really cheap house with a couple friends. The landlord was a bit of a loon and we wondered why he didn't bother picking up the animal droppings prior to our tour of the place. So we move in because of the size/price and we go down in the basement only to find a mummified cat waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs in the most horrific pose. It was as if he propped it up that way to get to us. I wonder if there is something specific to cats that makes them so easily mummifiable.

I changed my mind so much I can't even trust it. My mind changed me so much I can't even trust myself.
