My other thread got deleted, so I suppose I'm making a new one. Just a progress report on the exploration project I have been working on along with a couple others on here. Won't name any names, but you know who you are, it wouldn't have been possible without you. Thanks.

I'm also hesitant to tell you where or what it is, because the location is active and I don't really want increased patrols in this location because someone saw my post on this board about it. I've made a thread on it before when I first joined here about a month ago that has since been deleted, for anyone that remembers.

Anyway, down to the nitty gritty. I've been "scouting" this location (really just pussyfooting about it) for a while now, pretty much ever since I made that first topic. Recently the ones I mentioned helped me finally get a sure way into the location, and again I've been pussyfooting around even though I have a way in. Well, this morning I decided I was gonna go for it, so I packed up all my stuff and headed there. Choosing the most inconspicuous entrance I have found (which is not really that concealed), I headed in.

I had been in the entrance one time before, and snapped this pic:

, but I hadn't been any further in than that. This time I took the plunge, and spent about half an hour in there. It was completely deserted, but that's not the surprising considering its utility and its size. Plus, I was in a pretty remote area of the system for the time being. Apparently I went into a very straight, isolated arm of the system, because it was mostly a long, very straight tunnel from end to end. There were large temperature fluctuations as well, ranging from about 80 to probably in excess of 110 degrees in some places. Fucking hot, in other words. It's a good thing I remembered to bring a water bottle, as I was sweating heavily after only half an hour or less. I still wasn't brave enough to risk more time than that inside, but it's ok because the location won't be gone anytime soon.

I suppose I can post a couple more pics and a video, since they don't really show you where this place is unless you've been there before.

You can PM me for more info and I'll elaborate, but I just don't feel it would be the best to post specifics in public, for my own well-being. It wouldn't be good if I was caught in this location, I think. I’m also looking for people in the Seattle area who would be interested in joining me in an expedition, as I think I might feel more comfortable with 1 or 2 more people along. Like I said, I'll give more info if anyone is interested.

"See you guys, you never listen to me. I said there was gonna be trouble but you didn't listen to me. You guys are crazy. You know, you guys are self destructive. There's a funny farm and it has your names written all over it. But I'm gettin' out of here. I'm... I smell ice cream!"
