School House

Ok so my best friend didnt tell me she lives 5 seconds away from an abandoned school! I never go to her house the way we did one night because its a little bit longer and the cops like that road. But when we turned onto her road I'm driving along and almost run off the road cos theres this decent sized as far as I can tell intact school house.
Anyways to what I wanted to ask, does anyone know a site to find schools that have been closed down? If it helps any its in Piney Flats.
But I think Sunday as long as its not raining or snowing we are gonna go look around it. So I should have pictures by this weekend.
But seriously can think of where I can find some history on this place?
(sorry for the long rambling post!)

Look there for the county and see if you notice any schools on the list that you don't know of.

I searched the ones that I didnt know (which there were a lot I didnt know!) The only one that was kind of in the area was Mary Hughes High School. But I still dont know that thats it.
The school has a one room school house feel with 2 or 3 rooms added on over the years. It also has a rather tall bell tower. Her house is the oldest known house in the area and she lives right next to the original general store (which someone has turned into a home) so I dont know how old this school is. More research tonight at the computer lab! I'm off to work! Bye everyone!

Maybe ask some old people in town if they have any idea, or just pay the place a visit and try to find something..I wouldn't know, I don't live anywhere near there.

I always find asking townsfolk to be the most helpful.

Yea I'm just kinda wondering about who to ask. The town hasnt been much of a town for many many years... and this is pretty far out in the boonies now. Hopefully I can unearth something about it soon.
Oh and sorry I just realized that one of the pictures didnt get flipped. Sorry about that!
