First roof "infiltration"

Hello people, I'm coming to you live from my first roof expedition at the CSE building on campus. I am surprised how easy it is to get onto the roof in some of these buildings; I guess the maintenance people are just too lazy to lock up when they're done.

I don't have my camera with me because I wasn't really expecting to go up here today, but I'm coming back tomorrow and I'll post pics then. The view is awesome, as this is one of the tallest buildings on campus. I can see from downtown to Bellevue easily.

Anyway, off to explore and see if I can get to the EE building's roof from here, wish me luck.

Last one was when I opened a door up there and was met with a mechanical room and a desk, so that's when I decided to make a graceful exit. Next time I'm going for either the EE or ESS building, so I'll post in this thread again if I get pictures.

That looks like a stellar view. Those shots of the Space Needle, and of the 520 bridge are great.

Yeah, thanks man, it was pretty nice up there, and there is a terrace right below that has almost as good a view, if I ever want to go back... I don't think I'll go up again, because I realized I was pretty visible not only from the outside, but also through the glass roof in the 5th to last picture that overlooks peoples' offices. I think the ultimate roof around that area would be the Safeco building, but I'm not sure I'd really fit in with the crowd there to get access.

I'd probably leave anything university alone for a while. People are going to be extremely tense until they have some time to relax after the media scare.

Eh, that's completely ridiculous, but the sad thing is you're probably right...

Across which street? Down in U village?

If you're ever in the area again, don't hesitate to let me know, although I won't be free so much anymore as my new job is giving me tons of hours.

Yeah....in University Village.

I'm usually up in Seattle for work once a month or so.
