5100 Magazine, Issue #5, Out Now!
< on 1/4/2007 4:27 PM >
Posted on Forum: UER Forum

The staff at 5100 has done it again and put together another great issue of 5100 Magazine!

A respectable 32 pages, it has four feature stories with nifty photos, plus other articles and cool things, all wrapped up in a colour cover. Check out the (new!) website for a preview: 5100.ca

It's now available for purchase, only $3 a copy. Order one today, either via paypal or cash in the mail. Of course, the previous issues can also be ordered for $3 each.

Awesome indeed, great work, I look forward to seeing. Good old ink on paper.

I think it's a nifty issue. You wouldn't believe how long that little Andie comic zine took to make.

Fuck, I just remembered I wanted to buy the issues of 5100 a few months ago. Sorry to whoever I talked to about this ages ago.

Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.

Just checkin up on Canada Post. I put some paper currency in an envelope for some issues. I forgot and it was a window envelope so everyone will see the Queen. A good test for honesty, lol. Okay, kidding, there was no window.

Just wondering if you received the envelope, pardon my eagerness, it left here Monday.

Thanks,

A.

Any time frame on the next issue?

I was suprised by your fast service too, so I'm just gonna say its a great mag and you guys have good service. Hard to get that with zines. And i say that after collecting almost a thousand issues (on other subjects of course).

We were hoping to have one out for April, but we don't have a lot of submissions right now so we'll see how that goes.

If it gets out within a couple of months that's one more primary source for my thesis! Woot!

Any discussion on the aspect of play and fun that UE brings to what can otherwise be a straight-forward urban existence is appreciated.

Hopefully me making requests of sources doesn't skew my results.
