I pulled over and about a mile or so on the other side of the valley was something. The first pic is what I grabbed with a telephoto lens. Very interesting site too, it looks very apocalyptic Often times large cement factories like that have their own limestone/sandstone quarries, sometimes underground. You should check Topozone.com and google maps for the presence of quarries nearby, and try to determine if any of them are underground.
