| | | Posted by Horus Welcome to the boards Just a little tip, not trying to yell at you on your first post, but usually stuff about specific locations should go in one of the regional boards. People are more likely to help you there.
|
Also not wise to post about any new site's locations, or ways into the locations (if they have not yet been UE'ed), keeps them from getting trashed. This is only for those who have found a location that is in pristine condition, and you want it to stay that way. Oh, and something else, If you take some of your friends to the site, take only those you trust. You'll understand why later on down the road.

| | | Hey there all, new to this site but not so new to the ideals. Been hanging round on rooftops with the boys from harm city, just started taking photos and I've gotten real interested in communicating with other 'splorers of lost and forgotten places. Working on entry into a new site, but I am always visiting those old familiar places. I'm down with meeting up with anyone when my schedule permits, you know how jobs and a wife and kids can get in the way, but none the less, I've been around. Here is a shot from a recent venture that Proteus617 and I went on in search of some midnight madness theatre seats.

| | | I posted this in another thread, but I thought it seemed to fit here. Sorry if that goes against any regulations that I didn't read. I'm new to the forums and I'd be really interested in any locations that I don't know about. I moved to Orlando,FL in Feb from the suburbs of DC, and I don't have much experience. I explored the Juvie place next to Sunland yesterday and had a lot of fun. I've always kind of had a penchant for run-down buildings. I took a photography class a few years ago and every single one of my pictures was of trashed buildings that I found on the backroads of Alabama. Anyway, just thought I'd put my intro out there, as I'd really like to make this a serious hobby.

| | | Um, hello everyone. I live in Midhurst Ontario, about an hour bike ride from Barrie. I learned about this site from www.i-hacked.com They mentioned "infiltration" and this forum, and I soon became obsessed with the concept of UE. I'm moderately new to UE in general and am hoping to get started with something interesting soon. I've explored some active buildings (Etobicoke Olympium, schools) but am prepared and looking forward to more interesting places. Although I live in a rural area, there surprisingly isn't any abandoned buildings I've seen. I hope to visit Edgar Radar Base sometime if I can get directions, and until then; I'll hop on my bike and look for some abandoned farms. I hope everyone's friendly here...

From the upstate NY region where i grew up(almost got caught in a cave in of a barn), to Phoenix,AZ(used to see how far below the lobby level of randow office buildings I could get), to where i am now- Goose Creek,SC. I'm fairly new to the Area, and have worked way too much to find some new places to go. I am psyched about the S(ue)PLEX 2006,which i plan on attending! anyways im always down to check things out in the charleston/surrounding areas now that work has calmed down

| | | Well, first and foremost, I'm glad to finally find a community of fellow explorers! Now for the history lesson. I grew up in Chatham On. till grade 8, when I moved to a small town outside London On. There I explored my first decent sized site, a highschool being made in Strathroy. Whenever I got bored I would find ways onto the local schools rooftops or into other places I wasn't supposed to be for the hell of it, if for no other reason than the accomplishment of doing it. Other than that, whenever I go camping or walking around I'm always looking for places to explore or jump around. I'm also into parkour, and I've been labeled an adrenaline junkie. Don't get the wrong idea though, as I'm not like a hyperactive child who needs to be told to sit still and shut up. I take pride in my ability to remain unseen and unheard. Basically, I live for adventure. ^_^ PS. I moved to Toronto for college after highschool(which I finished in 2005). [last edit 9/19/2006 11:52 PM by Shinobi - edited 1 times]

| | | Hello all! Here`s another russian urban explorer (or better - digger) to come here. =) Well, I`m kinda new to this forum, but I`ve been exploring since 2001 - It all started far far away in Ural, when we started to explore Ufa city storm drains and some local quarries... And so it began. Now I live in Moscow - exploring and studying psychology. And I hope to become kinda good member in this community. =)

| | | Awesome to finally find a site like this one. Now for the background I'm a 17 year old starving college student, in the middle of nowhere, just outside lincoln, NE. I've got a fair amount of breaking and entering experience, and some talent with a lockpick (which has gotten me in and out of trouble like you would not believe, actually tripped over a meth lab once. Whoops.) I like old graveyards, and mostly go for the stuff out of town, like old farmhouses, hidden forests, abandoned co-ops.... though I hate them dearly. (City kid, stuck exploring a farm world.) I'm at the same time, brave to the point of stupidity, and paranoid. Which means I pack two of everything, and don't often run. Kind of hard to explain to cops. So far, I've escaped a criminal record though. What else can I say that you wouldn't care about... More of a ghost/urban legend hunter than UE, but I love them both. Got a girlfriend out of state, that would go UE with me if she was here... and so on... Now that I've thouroughly bored the daylights out of you, it's probably time I said goodbye, and see you around.

Welcome. Glad to hear you're, er, enthusiastic. Seriously though, I wouldn't brag about having "a fair amount of breaking and entering experience," that's not going to sit well with a lot of folks here. Ethic my friend, ethics.
It seemed like a good idea at the time... |
