I’m listening to the scanner now and it sounds really bad! I’m a few miles west of the damaged areas, but if any members are located there, I hope you’re okay! I would like to here from our locals just to know y’all are okay.
Casualty reports have just started coming in and the property damage is extensive. Emergency crews are unable to even reach much of that area - especially around the Walnut Hill/Preston area. No deaths reported yet, but there are injuries reported. This is still ongoing.

Video of the tornado:

The photos below are NOT mine. They are circulating all over Twitter:

Huh... the gutter drain pipes held up pretty good.

I can faintly see what I first thought was heat lightning down towards Ozona.
Looking on the radar that's one hell of a rolling thunder line of storm cells.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

So glad you're Ok Dee.

I live about 120 miles away and we could see the storms moving your way, and knew it was going to be be bad. One of our friends we were with commented: "that looks like tornado weather". Some of the thunderheads looked like they were over 50k feet and rising.

Some of the videos I am seeing are quite amazing commercial building blown apart. Multiple funnel clouds. I still have family and friends there and have been getting reports thank God everyone is Ok.

Here’s the latest news now that the damage was assessed in daytime. Thankfully, there aren’t any deaths reported so far in Dallas. Unfortunately, there were casualties in OKlahoma and Arkansas.

Crazy to think that this wasn't long ago...my grandparents in their 90's got trapped in and we had to get a full on Dallas FD rescue. I went down to surveil the damage about 30 minutes after the tornado had ripped through the area.

Wow!
I forgot about this post, but I did get to explore a mansion recently that was a victim of this tornado. I’ll post pics if I can find them.

@rionxe, I’m sorry to hear about your grandparents. I hope they made it out okay!
