So I had the chance to visit an old US Army Depot today. Very interesting place. Not the best pics I have ever taken but I thought I would Share.
So these are the Munition Storage units. The walls were designed to be thicker than the tops on these igloos in case there were an explosion inside as they held ammunition. This would allow the explosion to blow the top off instead of the walls and would be safer. Also turns out that the ones with the A in front of the numbers above the doors carried Nuclear Weapons components. The A stands for ALPHA section of the Depot and the B is for BETA Section which held general ammunition for the US states army. There are so many of these igloos on the base. Pretty much every 400 ft or so! Here are some pictures of the Igloos:

This is a rail platform. There was a bunch of these around also. This one was the only one with a roof the others were just a base. They would unload and load weapons and such on to trains to transfer around the depot.

Then there was this! A fully white, white tail deer. Not an albino deer! But interesting if you find this interesting. It is a mutation that has thrived in the fenced in area over the years! Very interesting to know. Well for me it is haha. Anyway I caught this one in the shrub and got a shot before she ran off
