It's been a hot minute since I had a chance to go out and explore anything new, due mostly to the chaos of yet another move. This place sits just down the road from my new residence, and was pointed out to me by my new neighbors just as soon as I mentioned I was interested in vacant and architecturally significant buildings. This trio of structures were designed and utilized as art studio spaces, a trend which has continued following their abandonment. It is difficult to find a corner devoid of some form of graffiti, sculpture, sketch, pottery, poetry, or painting. The aesthetic style of the buildings themselves is difficult to describe, and my pictures don't nearly do it justice. These are spaces that need to be experienced to be understood.

This is perhaps the coolest thing I've seen on here in while! Such a nice find!
Do you have an idea of how long the structure has stood there for? It definitely doesn't seem so old

Nice photos .. really get a sense of the many unique architectural spaces built for creativity. Wonderful art school lost in time.

This is such a unique find. The architecture appears quite Scandinavian to me; with all of the windows, wood paneling, and high ceilings. Love all of the natural light in there too!

Also love the abstract artwork in photo #3 and the old TVs laying about.

Wow. Stuffy a good set. Super cool place!

You're still in Vermont? Or, a new state?

Yep, still here. We just had the opportunity to move from our bland apartment to a cool pre-Civil War house.

As far as I can tell the buildings were built in the mid to late 1960's, and have been abandoned since the mid-2000's or so. I can only imagine how many metric tons of weed have been expended there.

Very cool. Doesn't look in that bad condition for something that's been abandoned for 10-15 years.

This is so cool! Aside from the moss, you almost can't tell the difference between this and an occupied art studio. What a bizarre and beautiful place. It's so nice to see intact stained glass! I hope you get the chance to document detail shots of the collage work if you are so inclined.

Unrelated to anything else, I'm viscerally repulsed by the carpeted chair in #18. I can only imagine the texture.

Man, I LOVE shit like this--unexpected complete weirdness combined with an abandoned location.

Also, congrats on the new digs.
