Okay, so the last place I explored, we came across this door. It’s a very interesting door - odd to say the least. On the other side of this door is a large storm drain. The side the photo was taken on stays dry.
Does anyone know why there are so many latches to this damn thing? The best I could come up with was to resist pressure/weight should the water reach the height of the door on the other side.
Am I close? Has anyone else seen this type of door in a drain system or similar location before?
