After forgetting about my last account because of university, I am finally back with a new one to continue exploring. I'm from the St. Louis area and have explored a handful of times, a few years back, at some nice locations. I hope to continue my exploration career and get some great photos and memories along the way.

Hey yall. I've been on here for a few weeks already, but just wanted to post in here and say hi!

I've been exploring on and off for the past 3 years, but more seriously within the past year or so. It took me a while to find cool folks IRL to explore with, but now I got a couple good friends. (That MSP outsider life lol)

I'm in MSP and have done most exploring around here, with a bit in Madison. I've been exploring drains, sewers, tunnels, the occasional rooftop. Caves are okay, but kinda one and done imo. Just working my way through the typical spots and trying to find new ones.

Hola,

Been lurking here for about a month after being recommended this site. I don't get to do exploration very often, mostly when I'm out for a cruise and notice something. Not aware of anyone in my area; East Texas.

As a teenager however I was big into urbanex(before internet that really a thing). Guess it started when a friend and I found an abandoned house that had not been vandalized, we found a door, reattached it and over the course of a summer and using some scrap wood from our local hardware store made a spot for us to hangout.

As an adult now getting hooked on the youtubers "broken window theory" and "The Proper People" has started that old itch up again. I work in the medical field and have a particular fascination with hospital environments, but generally will risk the ticks and wasps if I see something interesting and it checks out after some research. If you see a guy floating around in northern east texas on an Indian motorcycle or Subaru wagon with mud tires, wave, that might be me puttering around looking for my next trip out.

Super cool! This is a great community!

Seems like there's a lot of Texas people here. I'm not one of them, but that state has an awesome community.

Share some photos. Reach out to people.

Read all the forum rules!

Happy exploring

Hello! My name is Maria. I've been Urban Exploring with my partner for the past year and it's been an amazing and a rewarding experience. I currently am in the healthcare field in Virginia and I also play video games in my free time! I hope to meet amazing people and hopes that I could make some friends here to explore and make amazing memories with.

I've been lurking in this site a lot but I am unsure how to start presenting myself. Hopefully once I figure out this site more than I can share some photos that I've taken during one of my explorations!

Thank you for your time reading this!

Good evening everyone. Alex here, I'm located in Los Angeles, and while I wouldn't say I'm new to urban exploring (I used to climb and explore and everything else as a child and teenager) I haven't done much of it after high school because of the whole bills and relationships thing, and cars..

Now, to make a novel short, I'm 27 now, and besides a few things here and there, I'm really trying to get back into it, especially with the pandemic, I'm gradually losing my job, and so free time is more available than ever lol.

I'm very eager to meet people in the area and get outside, though naturally I'll be wearing a mask and hoping others around me will too for protection of all parties involved.

A little background, I am pretty capable of most things, though I have a very selective fear of heights, some things don't trigger it, but I think it's narrow ledges that do me in, want to work on eliminating that..

Anyway, checked out this dam by my house the other day, here's a few photos from up top. I had been wanting to go for a couple years, finally got up and went. Solo style

Hello UER:

I'm new to the site, but not exploring. I live in CT but I am only a few mins from MA and RI. My first place was an abandoned mansion when I was about 10 and I have been interested in these types of things ever since. The abandoned log cabin and rusting antique cars in the woods behind my house were like a playground to me. I am a Contractor now so I fix old houses all the time. I go to these places now because the history and architecture.. as well as the adrenaline rush lol. I enjoy taking pictures but I use the same philosophy as I do when I'm hiking, leave only footprints, take only photos. The graffiti and vandalism boggle my mind, but I digress.. I am excited to be here and hope that I can get to know some of you soon.
Stay safe out there, -B

Hi hi hi! I'm Krow, born and raised in Vancouver.
I've been interested in urbex for a while but I've never gone out and done it myself. I've been a lot more motivated to go out and explore now though due to the current global situation. I was so psyched when I found this site. Can't wait to talk and learn from y'all.

Hey people! I'm from the Boston area. I'm mostly here to try to get tips into finding locations. I haven't had anything abandoned to explore so I get my kick out of climbing to the roofs of buildings and new construction. Most of the locations near me on this website are long since repopulated but I'm not giving up on finding something to explore.

Hey everyone. My name is Eddie. I live in Madison WI and have been urbexing for several years already. Until recently I have taken it beyond exploring places I happen to stumble upon and have decided that the subject of the beauty of urban decay should be the prime subject of my Instagram. (turningleaves23) Many YouTube videos, and google searches later I happen to find this awesome community of people doing exactly what I love to do as well. Hoping this will help me meet more of you and to help me expand my map of locations I have yet to photograph. So excited to get my hands dirty and commit to something as fun and unique as urbexing. Feel free to say Hi!

Always will be,
Eddie (Leaf Turner)

Hey guys I guess I could somewhat be considered an urban explorer in the Oklahoma area. I've been to a handful of places that I haven't seen on the UE map and will probably upload pictures of them soon. I kind of go exploring on and off due to fears of the consequences.. Mainly fear of being shot at by some trigger happy farmer. I also hang out in cemeteries every now and then, usually at night. But yeah anyways I'd really like to find some neat places near the NE part of OK to explore soon as there's not much for a 22 year old dingus to do in this barren state, especially with the whole COVID-19 outbreak.

Hey there new member here.
I'm not new to urban exploring, but I am new to joining this site.
I'm hoping to display some of my photography and videos of places I've been, and more importantly, hoping to find more locations.
I have no problem sharing mine, and directions on how to get in also.

Hi Guys! I am Aaron!
I have done quite a bit of urban exploration with my friends in the greater Bay Area. We used to be really into it back in high school, but we've recently all graduated, and it's been difficult to find time to get out! I am looking to get back into it, and this forum seems like it would be a good place to get tips and ideas for photography from others who enjoy exploring I am also looking forward to meeting some new people to go exploring with!

Hi everyone! My name is Jonathan. I'm from the Salt Lake area and am currently 18, turning 19 later on this month. I've always had a fascination about urban exploring and have spent countless hours watching people explore all of these cool places around the world. Of the very few places I've explored, I have always remained respectful of the buildings and have NEVER had the need or urge to break glass, spray paint walls, or tear apart everything I see. I just found this and got so excited that there's a community out there for nothing but urban exploring.

Anyways, I'm excited to hopefully be welcome to this community and I hope to be able to explore with you great people!
