I love it when exploration comes to you rather than you looking for it.
I realize that auto part picker scrap yards are nothing new. It was a new experience for me.
I did not want (nor could I afford) to pay my mechanic $250 to fix my AC on my 2004 van so read a little and took a chance. I had no AC for the latter part of last year and I was not keen on doing it again this summer.
From my research online I decided to try and replace the AC/heater blower resistor. This is a part you can replace with a screwdriver, about my skill level.
It was a fun experience and I got to meet a couple interesting people. I took a few pictures because the place defiantly had a UER vibe. I am sure stuff like this has been posted before, I cant say I looked. The pace was HUGE, i cant do it justice. I wish I could have gotten access to the big grab crane thing or taken a picture or two from higher up.
It was $3 to get in and look for your part. I will be going back just to explore and take pictures of some of the amazing vehicles and parts.
