Hello everyone once again. Third post on here! This one is from November 2018 and is one of the last explores we were able to do.

We are fishing people(saltwater), so we go to Galveston almost every weekend. We fish, the kids play, everyone has a great time. When we are done and headed home, it takes less than 5 minutes for them to crash out, which gives us a chance to ride around Galveston "exploring" window shopping style.

We came across this incinerator and I dropped a green flag on google maps so we could come back alone. (I'm going to put a pic of my map with the green flags, its insane) I've seen this one on here before, but very few pictures, and now, ITS GONE!!! I can't be sure when they finally tore it down because we go so often, but one day last year I noticed I didn't see the stacks! You could see them from the highway and sure enough, we passed by and it was gone.

I believe this is the first explore I took my Nikon D3400 because I remember going up and down stairs and gripping the hell out of the camera, I was so worried I was going to eat shit and destroy it.

I'm obviously no photographer, and it was raining, so here are my pics with my wet lens.

^^^everything inside 610^^^

Okay so my map, my beautiful organized chaos Blue flags are food places... the green flags, that could be anything from:
abandoned buildings
graff spots
drains
benching spots
magnet fishing spots
actual fishing spots

And many other random things. Some we have been to, some we want to go to.
One day I said to myself, damn I got alot of green flags, do I even know what half of these are? lemme clean some out... turns out I DO know what they all are, I only deleted a few... out of 400!

I'm not sure if we were the last people to explore this, but we might have been the last to get pictures, because it went down not long after!

Thanks for looking again you guys!

With the incinerator gone, what will the old couple across the street do for entertainment? They sat on their front porch and called the cops anytime a car stopped there!

Not sure, but I bet they sat there so smug watching it being torn down! We didn't encounter anyone on this day, but we also parked somewhere else and walked.
