My first abandoned Mine explored

I was visiting British Columbia in the summer and I had some places on my list to explore. To add to my list I contacted a fellow explorer that I follow on instagram. He mentioned an abandoned mine. Living in Ontario I dont come across mines to often so I decided to check it out. He gave me detailed instructions on where to park to be out of sight. Once we started the hike into the deep forest I used google earth to help find the mine site. Once I seen the opening to the mine I was very excited! I didn't go in to far and I have no idea how far it went in but it was super cool to see. In Ontario I mostly find locations myself as I do not have full member status on UER just basic member. But when traveling out of town or other provinces its nice when fellow explorers share locations. Its a great hobby and I have met a lot of nice people so far.

Thank you, I can see why exploring abandoned mines are so popular in B.C.

Nice pics! If you want to find abandoned mines in Ontario, the government has a list of all the mines they know of, and it can be converted into a map.

Nice explore! I always love finding mines to explore. Wish I was close enough to visit that one.

Yes there are actually 2 of them open here but I would remove the name of this location in your comment 😁
