I had taken these pics using a Sony AX53 camcorder due to not currently having a decent camera and even my phone is terrible at pictures since it decided to take a long fall.

Looking for feedback on how they are and the subject matter of them. In addition what else can I improve upon in the future. I am not currently very camera savvy and any information or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

In addition if you have a good camera recommendation that is sorta affordable (less then $800 USD) let me know I am getting ready to shop for one here in a month or two.

Laundry cart.

Guest room.

Courtyard.

Mini Golf.

I recommend that you find on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace a used Fujifilm XT1 or XT2 mirrorless camera bundle with likely the kit lens. Cam takes super good looking pictures with little to no need to edit them if you get your exposure good on scene. I highly recommend to check out Youtube videos on Exposure Compensation control and histograms. Those two help me significantly. Colors look great with no editing out of the Fujifilm cameras.

First picture in the set is the one I thinks the best. Sharpest and most interesting.

I use a Fujifilm x100s.

Awesome thing about some Fuji's. All of the manual controls are physically on the camera. Like a film camera. Great for learning.

Your photos are ok. First one could be cool , if the background was slightly blurred.

Test edit by Johhny Dawggit, on Flickr

Here is a quick edit that adds a little blur and isolation.

Sometimes, a simple edit makes a big difference.

Frame your shots so you can easily pick out and identify a subject.

Out of curiosity what editing software would you recommend that is affordable and is fairly easy to use? You are right getting rid of the extra "crap" off the edge of that pic helps it out a lot, it seems to make it feel less cluttered. In addition the laundry cart pops without the other stuff standing out as much.

Thanks so far. I hope that I can get some decent equipment for this and learn. I have never really gotten to big into photography but it would be awesome to be able to take good pics of what I get to see to share or even help me remember.

Lightroom is a simple and easy to use software.

A simple setup like this would be cool to start out, right about your budget.

Would get you a wide angle lens, portrait lens and camera.

Canon Portrait and Travel Two Lens Kit with 50mm f/1.8 and 10-18mm Lenses https://www.amazon...pa_i_xcgYDb1D42G4Y

Canon EOS Rebel T7 DSLR Camera Body (No Lens) + 32GB Memory Bundle https://www.amazon...pa_i_rggYDbH7S9NFR
