Hello there. I found this house in Glen Lyon, It is a quite town but while in google maps i saw it. I do not know what is on one of its floors since it is all glass so i cant enter it. The website does not allow copyright content so you have to see it yourself

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.1735914,-76.0767557,3a,60y,164.69h,90.25t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sxZJ9_1M4SYOk8X4H50dUEw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

i 'm new so i do not know how to work the tools yet but it is large. Not a nice looking house but for some reason i saw a fresh pair of sheets in there as if someone still lived in that place. Maybe it was the hornets that bought it. I would have taken photos but my lungs hurt from all the mold. If anyone was up to the task of taking photos of the house be careful of thorns and bring a mask. Awesome place though.

I think you're not supposed to share locations here (I'm also relatively new) but you should go take pictures and post them in the photography thread!

Yes, I am also new as well. But I have been told you need to go and take pictures and then post them on here. Not the location.

You don't technically need to do anything here, but posting map links and location info is generally frowned upon. If there are no photos, then a writeup of the place never hurts. Handing out location info like this is a great way to attract people to a place, including the kind that don't treat places with respect.

If you like a place and want to return to enjoy it more, but still want to share it, then make sure what you share doesn't increase the number of people who can find it. That's the policy I try to follow, anyway.

Yeah, posting locations is a big no no on here, or anywhere. It's the reason why places get vandalized and/or burnt down. All it takes is the wrong eyes to see it.

You really shouldn't share locations in general unless you trust whom you are sharing it with. Even giving very limited information on a spot can cause people to use the magic of the interwebs to find it. Post pics and stories,Ask for advice. That's what this is about. I wouldn't post the town yet alone the GPS cords or a hyper link to the area of the site. Not trying to bust your balls or anything because I am new this place myself but being in the hobby for the last 5ish years you quickly see how fast a spot can fall apart from outside influence. Some places wait dormant for years for someone to find or explore it. But it only takes one post for the same place to be set on fire, gratified up, or demolished.

Just go to threads about how some places go downhill if you don't believe me.
