This school was originally built in 1958 and served its community grades K-6 for 50 years as the only school in the immediate area. In 2008 due to rising costs of maintaining an already dated structure aswell as declining enrollment the district decided to close the school by the end of the 2007-2008 school year, forcing all the students to be bussed off to other schools in surrounding towns. For the past few years now I've always wanted to check the building out so last month I decided I would finally check it out (this is how I got into urban exploration).
PS: I currently don't have a nice camera so I used my phone, this will most likely be the case for the next few months until I can actually afford to get one as I am currently a broke college student.
