Looking For UEX Help in Edmonton

Me and my buddies have been trying to find abandoned places to explore but all of the places we check out have been destroyed or turned into a new business. Molson Brewery has been turned to a different business, Wellington School has been torn down, Camsell has security all over now and is being rebuilt, etc.

If anybody has any tips on where to look that would be super helpful.

It sounds classier if you pronounce it "tray-passing"

Hey man, welcome to UER! Take a peek at this thread for a breakdown of location sharing etiquette.
https://www.uer.ca...d=1&threadid=83700

The whole rookie section is full of great reading to get you started in finding locations.

Also take a look at the Edmonton section of the UE DB. Only the tamest sites are publicly listed. The demolished locations are good to look at as well to give you an idea of what kind of places you should be keeping an eye out for.

Good luck, hope to see you posting pics soon!

Asking for locations defeats the principle of Urbex. Search engines can dig up stuff but the ole fashioned way of going out and about yields the best results. My Flickr has lots of Edmonton stuff you can figure out where most of the locations are from the landscape.

All of my buddies have been checking out your flickr for the past couple weeks and the ones that we manage to find on google maps and visit are torn down or being renovated to something else :/ I appreciate your reply!

Things move fast in this city. The window of opportunity on some sites between closure & demolition can be very brief. You've got to be vigilant.

That being said, there are a couple long standing sites around the city as well. Put in some legwork & google fu and you should be able to find them.

I'm no expert but I'm available to help for future UE planning and excursions.

Hey Denny, welcome to UER! If you would like to get involved with group activities, the best place to start is by showing us some pictures of places you've already been.
