| | | Posted by 2Xplorations If that is IF they make it inside the perimeter, they will be arrested and or shot. This is a pretty bad joke somebody is playing. That being said I always thought it could be done IF, youre willing to scout and low crawl a long way and hide off and on and move real slow for a couple days but without knowledge of where all the sensors are even crawling will trigger them. We use the same type sensors on some parts of the Mexican border now. Besides there nothing to see in there...
| I'm not sure that even a slow crawl would work. It's nearly impossible to hide your thermal image and they monitor that as well. Creech AFB is just north of Vegas and a major drone training and operations base. I would be very surprised if part of their mission was not security surveillance of sensitive areas of the range. I have no inside information on that, but it just makes sense. If you could somehow teleport yourself to the middle of the base, really the only thing you might see are some pretty cool developmental aircraft. Or maybe some specialized land vehicles being tested. Obviously everyone who goes up there has a security clearance. It is at least Secret, but I think it's Top Secret or above for those areas up at the test site. The Janet aircraft fly up there multiple times a day transporting military and civilian contractors. Some of those civilian contractors are mechanics, plumbers, electricians, and food service people. So even though everyone has security clearance, any really super-secret stuff wouldn't be just sitting around outside. The military takes their security very seriously. A couple of years ago I was on a tour at Davis Monthan AFB and there was a Janet 737 sitting on the tarmac. I asked my friend, "What's a Janet 737 doing down here?". I thought the tour guide's head was going to snap off his shoulders as looked over at us and asked, "How do you know about that?!". It's one of the worst kept 'secrets' of all times. Abby

| You can pretty rest assured they have a state of the art smart cam network that likely has FLIR cams integrated into it. Along with all the other sensors including ground radar, armed patrols equipped with night vision and/or FLIR and... & Reaper drones loitering out of sight, your sight that is. My guess is it's one of the most secured sites anywhere. Antipersonnel devices aren't out of the question once you go deeper into its perimeter. edit by DOD, nothing was deleted, move along

| | | Posted by adorb Maybe there's at least a few people who are actually considering going,
| Well I have learned not to be surprised at stuff the urbexorz on here do like this guy: Posted by Beebs Count me in!
| Im surprised nobody has claimed "its on their list of explores" or "last time I was there it had less graffiti" sigh... Posted by Abby Normal I'm not sure that even a slow crawl would work. It's nearly impossible to hide your thermal image and they monitor that as well. Abby
| Its nearly impossible to keep all warm blooded organisms off the base too, I reckon if they have any coyotes or stray donkeys out there for example they might have a "thermal image". You would be surprised at what some people can do, in another thread I related a story of a, guy, I know that spent 8hrs crawling to reach a, target. Long story long crawl. Posted by Radio2600 This obviously a joke.
| I will respond with a quote, my own quote: Posted by 2Xplorations If that is IF they make it inside the perimeter, they will be arrested and or shot. This is a pretty bad joke somebody is playing.
| Posted by Gothic Ghoul I think you'd have to be pretty stupid to try to invade an active military base.
| Yeps, Id never do that, everyone knows Im not stupid. But it depends on what you mean by the word "invade". Are we talking Normandy beaches on D-Day or just a harmless little infiltration to shoot some artsy fartsy photographs?
